I want my Chili’s Baby Back Ribs…candle?!

The good folks over at Chili’s is offering free delivery now through November 19. Yeah I know too good to be true? Well the plot thickens. Apparently Chilis is also giving away merch with delivery ordered through their app or online. The #ChilisMyHouse starter pack basically includes everything you need for the ultimate Friday-night-in experience.

“We get it. Our Guests don’t always have the time or want to leave the comfort of their homes. I deeply understand because I love being on the couch with my boys in my jammies binge-watching TV,” Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Ellie Doty said in a statement. “And, that’s exactly why you need a #ChilisMyHouse starter pack in your life. With 1.7 million homes across America becoming Chili’s restaurants, whether you’re licking BBQ sauce off your fingers in the bathtub or trying to avoid pausing the latest series you’re obsessed with, this custom starter pack will give you all the feels in a way only Chili’s can.”

Winners will snag a custom doormat, a wooden TV tray, a trivia game, a chip clip (for those wildly superior Chili’s tortilla chips), and last but certainly not least, a baby back ribs-scented candle. It’s really easy to enter, too. Just tag @Chilis on social when you order.

Well this certainly helped make our day. For all those Harry Potter fans and all those Dog Lovers behold the hands down cutest thing you will see all day! The aptly named Potter the Pomsky who is part Husky and part Pomeranian, happily rode around the living room on his “Muggle Broom” Roomba while dressed as his namesake Harry Potter. Celebrities play with purpose at 5th Annual LAPMF Heroes for Heroes Celebrity Poker Tournament

The 5th Annual Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation Heroes for Heroes Celebrity Poker Tournament & Casino Party will take place on Sunday November 17, 2019 at Avalon Hollywood. Stars from TV, Film, Music and Sports will play poker with a purpose to support the families of LAPD officers who were injured or have fallen in the line of duty.

The Heroes for Heroes event will include the distinguished annual celebrity poker tournament, red carpet arrivals, hand crafted cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, food, music, photobooth, raffles, live and silent auctions with unique and priceless entertainment and sports memorabilia.

This year’s event is expected to be grander than ever thanks to the continued support of PokerStars. The winner of the 2019 Heroes for Heroes poker tournament will head to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) in Barcelona in August 2020. The PSPC debuted earlier this year, smashing records for the largest 25K event in poker history, and becoming one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world. Poker fans of all kinds were given an incredible opportunity when PokerStars awarded ‘Platinum Passes’ to the PSPC over a year-long period in a variety of ways, ultimately leading to the creation of multiple millionaires including Spanish gym owner Ramon Collilas who earned more than $5 million for taking down the trophy. The grand prize winner at the Heroes for Heroes tournament will win their very own Platinum Pass to compete with the best in poker for millions at PSPC 2020. PokerStars has been the biggest supporter of the LAPMF Heroes for Heroes charity poker tournament since its inception in 2013 when the late great James Gandolfini hosted the tournament.

TIMEX travels back to the 80’s defying the smart watch trend

As companies try to jump on the smartwatch bandwagon and take a sliver of market share away from Apple, Timex has decided to take a different approach. The company has dug into its archives and revived the T80, an iconic digital watch from the ‘80s whose only smart feature is retro styling.

The Timex T80 ranges in price from $59 to $65 depending on what color and style of case and stainless steel band you opt for. For an extra $14 you can also splurge and grab the $79 Timex X Pac-Man versions featuring graphics inspired by the video game surrounding the LCD display’s generously sized bezel.

KFC is back in the wing game for football season this year!

KFC is selling wings again. And guess what?! BONUS! It delivers! Last week the chain went above and beyond with a Seasoned Tickets promotion, which went on sale at 8 AM Thursday via StubHub. The promo promised for a mere $75, KFC will deliver 48 Kentucky Fried Wings to your very doorstep every week for the next nine weeks, and then 96 wings in the tenth week for the playoffs. As Ad Age points out, this is actually a pretty good deal: “Each order of 48 KFC wings usually costs $36.99. Each subscriber gets 528 wings—a $406.89 value—for just $75, delivery included.”

Unfortunately, the 500 Seasoned Tickets sold outing under 2 hours, according to a KFC press release. So to those who nabbed this pretty awesome deal I hope you bask in the mega-wing-goodness coming your way this season. For the rest of us I guess be on the look out for more KFC wing promos and head over to one near you and try out what they have to offer for game day wings!
